The Book of Mormon hits Ellie Caulkins Opera House- Denver

The Book Of Mormon has finally arrived in Denver! It’s the moment so many of us have been waiting for, counting down to and dreaming about. As someone who has a mostly Mormon family this show was bound to be interesting for me, and to make it more interesting I took my mom (who was raised in a strict Mormon family). We really enjoyed this show, it was hilarious and offensive all wrapped up into a joyous little bundle… just as I expected it to be. When you go to a show that is written by the … [Read more...]

Addam’s Family comes to Denver

I am just going to be honest here, I love this show! I went into it not expecting much at all. I didn’t watch the show much growing up, although I did end up seeing (and loving) the movies. I thought that I would just suffer my way through it… I was so wrong! The whole production is really funny, and it is so cleverly done. We enjoyed the whole show from beginning to end. The show is a musical with a great story line that starts with Wednesday being all grown up, and falling in love. Gomez … [Read more...]

Children’s Museum of Denver- Just Add Water

If you live in Denver you have probably been to the Children’s Museum, and if you haven’t been you should go! We love this place; they have everything that a kid could want in a museum. Starting on the main floor where you walk in and there is a full sized fire truck for the kids’ to climb on, pretend to drive, run the siren; all while dressed up in full fire fighter gear. Head upstairs and you will find never ending activities; a bubble zone (where you can play with all kinds of bubbles), … [Read more...]
