Recently Toyota asked me if I would like to drive the 2016 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited, and of course I said heck yes! Out of all of the amazing Toyota vehicles we have gotten to drive, the Highlander is probably my favorite of all time!
What do I love about the Highlander? Everything. Seriously. I really loved this one though because it had the panoramic moon-roof, which just made me *need* one. I found myself driving around with it open at all times, it’s just so pretty. I love feeling the sun-shining on my hair while I drive, something about it is very fancy, and free feeling!
I drove around the city for a whole week, and I felt pretty darn good about the gas mileage; I didn’t track it, so that’s a bummer, but it seemed pretty good! I wasn’t thinking, “how am I burning through gas so fast?!” Yay!
Here are some of the facts about the Toyota Highlander Hybrid-
The Toyota Highlander is awesome! Some of the features include-
- Leather interior- heated and ventilated seats!
- Space for up to 8 passengers
- Quiet interior
- Panoramic Moon-roof
- Conversation mirror, so that you can keep an eye on your passengers in the backseat
- Rear-seat entertainment
- Turn-by-turn navigation
- Back-up camera (love this!)
- Blind spot monitor
- Cargo space for days!
I am obsessed with the Toyota Highlander; I just think it’s the prettiest, most functional vehicle I have had the pleasure of driving. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking to fit a family into an SUV, or anyone trying to avoid driving a mini-van, this is a wonderful option. You get ‘the basics,’ but you also get everything you would ever dream of putting in an SUV. It’s a win/win!
Disclosure: I received a Toyota Highlander to drive for a week in order to write this review. All opinions are 100% my own and were not influenced in any way. No compensation was received.
