Disclosure: I was given a Toyota RAV4 to drive around town, in order to do this review. No other compensation was received.
A few years ago I decided that I didn’t really need an SUV anymore, and we moved down to a small car. I didn’t regret that decision at all, until I needed to fit 3 car-seats in the backseat. It just won’t work, I tried every single configuration to get the 2 booster seats, and a rear-facing car seat back there… nope. Enter my hero, Toyota, and their offer to let me drive a beautiful 2015 RAV4 around for a week.
The RAV4 is considered to be a compact sport utility vehicle, it feels like it’s just the right size, not too big, not too small. It was easy to park, and fit all of the kids easily! I used to be intimidated about parking my SUV, it was so big and bulky; but with the back-up cameras and the smaller size, I parked the RAV4 like a champ!
I thought I loved my small car, but oh my goodness, I love seeing the sun out the sun roof! The sunroof was one of the best features for me; I popped it open and drove down the highway, hair flying everywhere, singing at the top of my lungs. It was awesome!
I love being able to lay the seats down and throw whatever I buy in the back, without worrying that I won’t have room. Heck, I even laid down back there!
When it was time for them to come and take it back, I honestly thought about hiding it forever! I knew they would know I had it hiding in the garage, so I politely handed over the keys, without crying or punching or anything.
