I am a Young Living representative, that isn’t really news if you read here, but I’m brand new to it. When I saw that the Denver Botanic Gardens was offering an essential oils class, I jumped at the chance to be there for it! I didn’t know what to expect at all, but I wanted to learn everything that I could about this stuff.
When I walked in, I noticed that the teacher was using Young Living Essential Oils, and I felt pretty good about that. I mean, she works AT the Botanic Gardens, teaches classes about them, and as it would turn out she’s been using essential oils for almost 20 years. She told us stories of how essential oils have helped her, at one point she was wheelchair bound and now she is able to walk around freely, without restriction; I digress, that’s her story to tell.
She didn’t talk about how to buy Young Living Essential Oils, so if you are into another brand, that’s ok with her. She covered the history of oils, their many uses, how to choose a quality oil, what to look for when buying your oils, and other helpful tips.
She let us smell all of her oils, including Rose ($$$) which was cool! It was the first time that I’ve held it in my hand, but hopefully not the last!
I learned a lot from this class, and left having learned things that I didn’t know I wanted to learn! I would recommend (highly) this class, to oilers of all levels. Next up? I would love to take Plant Based Remedies- the Healing Oils of the Bible.
Extensive medical studies over the centuries have found that essential oils can support the human body physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Learn about the important role essential oils played in the lives of Biblical people and explore the twelve most significant oils of ancient scripture.
