The first Alamo Drafthouse in the Colorado market is set to open up on Monday, March 25th, 2013. Located in the beautiful Aspen Grove Shopping Center in Littleton, Colorado. Featuring a seven-screen theater with combined seating for over 900 moviegoers. Each of the auditoriums is equipped with state-of-the-art digital projection and sounds as well as excellent screen-to-room size ratio. Each of the auditoriums accommodates full bar and restaurant service with seats featuring attached tables and large aisles that allow for service before and during the film without disturbing any of the movie goers around you (or you!). This unique, fun combination of movie theater and restaurant will show first-run and independent films, along with specialty repertory film programming and events. The theater will feature and extensive menu, including many items that are made-from-scratch.
All of the seating is assigned and can be reserved when you purchase your tickets online or in-person at the box office. Customers should arrive early to enjoy the Alamo’s pre-show entertainment of rare clips, videos, and shorts that are custom-curated to complement each film or event. Additionally, and probably one of my favorite things about the Alamo Drafthouse, they feature a zero tolerance policy towards disruptive behavior such as talking or texting during the movie… thank goodness for that!
At the Alamo Drafthouse Littleton, they will be opening a Glass Half Full, a full service bar focused on craft beer (Jason’s dream in life, and probably yours too) and quality original and classic cocktails (more of my thing, yum!)Draft offerings at the Littleton Glass Half Full will draw heavily from local and regional Colorado breweries, with an emphasis on the world-class beer produced in and around Denver; I love the idea of that! Colorado has some great beers to offer! In addition to local beer, they will proudly pour local spirits from companies like Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey and Leopold Bros., as well as a seasonal cocktail menu.
The following list of beers rounds out a total selection of 64 choices that can be ordered and enjoyed from your movie seat, in the lobby or at what’s soon to be the best beer bar around, the Glass Half Full. Cheers!
