Catering a super bowl party?

Last week something amazing happened, maybe you heard about it? Chipotle announced that they are going to start offering catering!

Chipotle catering allows groups of 20 to 200 to customize their own individual meal, just like you can in the restaurant. You can choose between a taco or burrito bowl spread that can be ordered with two or three meats (including responsibly raised grilled chicken or steak, and shredded barbacoa or carnitas) and it comes complete with sides, including cilantro-lime rice, pint and black beans, fresh salsas, house-made guacamole, cheese, and sour cream.

If you are looking for a smaller option or a light snack instead you can choose Chipotle’s chips and salsa menu with hand-mashed guacamole, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, tomatillo-green chili salsa, and tomatillo-red chili salsa. Chipotle has more to offer too! There are so many options for all different sizes of groups, including “Burritos by the Box” where you can order prepared burritos.

As an added bonus customers who place an order for Sunday, Feb. 3rd. can redeem their original receipt for two free food items (burritos, burrito bowls, salads or tacos) at any Chipotle location on a return visit through Thursday, Feb. 28th, 2013. Additionally, catering customers who return their serving stands to Chipotle after their event will be given another free entrée card for use on a subsequent visit.

To order, customers can call 800-CHIPOTLE. Orders must be placed at least 24 hours ahead of pick-up time.

My opinion-

Jason and I attended a preview event of Chipotle’s catering and we loved it! Jason thought that the food tasted even better than it does in the restaurant! I thought it was amazing too, everything tasted fresh and yummy and the presentation was very nice.

The Chipotle representatives told us that when you order your catering you just pick it up and they give you the stands, the trays of food and the heating elements to keep the food warm during your party; all in big bags ready for you to take home. You simply take it home, take the lids off and set it in the stands, put the warmer under it and you are good to go! Easy peasy!

Disclosure: We were provided with free food but nothing was expected of us, I wrote this review because I love Chipotle more than I love most other things Winking smile I would write about them anytime.

  5. This is a great idea. I so rarely think of catering and by the time you buy all the stuff, do all the work, it would just be easier TO CATER it. I have to remember this and the Chipotle menu looks so good!

  15. This would be a great option for employee meetings too! Especially for companies with wellness plans that are looking for alternatives to pizza.
