Snow White and Huntsman

Alright, so as you may know, I love movies… but Jason loves them even more. He loves movies more than anyone else I have ever met, he could watch them all day every day! From the day we met (when he talked me into going to see S.W.A.T with him) he has been teaching me about all of the actors and actresses. He really does love this stuff! So, because of that, I have decided that it would be great for him to do the movie reviews here on Moose Tracks and Tater Stacks.

Without further ado-

Hi Everyone!!! This is my first “official” movie review- so bear with me while I forge my way through it-

Sarah and I were honored to be invited to go see Snow White and the Huntsman, staring Charlize Theron (The Italian Job, Hancock), Kristen Stewart (Twilight), Chris Hemsworth (Thor, The Avengers) and a myriad of other actors you would not expect to see. The story begins much like the original Fairy tale- it is the part everyone knows about- Snow White is born, the king is killed by the evil witch- etc.

My favorite part is when the Dwarfs showed up, which was approximately halfway through the movie. Up until this point the movie seemed a little stagnant, moving along slowly with very little action. After their entrance, the action picks up- the cinematography moves from mediocre to amazing, and the movie seems to move a lot faster.

As the synopsis reads- In a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.- All in all, this movie was okay.

Who this movie is for- Teenage girls

Who this movie isn’t for- Younger children, people who don’t like Kristen Stewart

My recommendation- Wait for the DVD

It’s nice to see her in something different than Twilight.
