If you live in Denver you have probably been to the Children’s Museum, and if you haven’t been you should go! We love this place; they have everything that a kid could want in a museum.
Starting on the main floor where you walk in and there is a full sized fire truck for the kids’ to climb on, pretend to drive, run the siren; all while dressed up in full fire fighter gear.
Head upstairs and you will find never ending activities; a bubble zone (where you can play with all kinds of bubbles), a dance area, painting, build some projects, and a ton more!
The Children’s Museum of Denver has a new exhibit called “Just Add Water,” and we went to check it out. It is the first thing that you see when you walk up to the museum, it is just to the left of the entrance. I had to force the kids to go inside to check in before jumping straight into the water activities!
This exhibit is really fun! The kids’ absolutely loved it!
They had a pump that you pump up the pressure and then push a button and the water shoots out of a spout at the top. ![]()
Another part of the exhibit featured a pool with some different elements, where kids could put balls in a bucket and they would get sucked down the drain and would shoot up on the fountain. You could also experiment with other parts of the water.

Disclosure: We were invited to the Children’s museum to play in the new exhibit. The opinions in this post are 100% my own. No money was exchanged for this post.
