I am just going to be honest here, I love this show! I went into it not expecting much at all. I didn’t watch the show much growing up, although I did end up seeing (and loving) the movies. I thought that I would just suffer my way through it… I was so wrong!
The whole production is really funny, and it is so cleverly done. We enjoyed the whole show from beginning to end. The show is a musical with a great story line that starts with Wednesday being all grown up, and falling in love. Gomez and Morticia aren’t sure how to respond to Wednesday falling in love; but the fact that the boy is a regular, ordinary, handsome young man… nothing like them at all! How will they handle this news? What can they do to make it stop?
The Addam’s Family is chock full of great songs, hilarious punch lines, and fabulous acting. I would recommend this show to anyone who is looking for something to do around Denver, but especially people who loved the Addam’s Family when it was on TV; I am not in that group, but still loved it so much! Head on over and get your tickets now, before they are all gone, you won’t regret it.
