I think most people have seen this show or read the book but I haven’t done either, last night was my first time experiencing “Les Mis” for myself and it was pretty incredible. I really liked it and so did Jason, the acting was great and the singing was out of this world good!
There was a point in the show where the song was so touching that I thought I might cry and the singing was so amazing that I couldn’t move in my seat. After that song the clapping was so long and strong that I thought there might be a standing ovation in the middle of the show! I know I wanted to jump up and clap like crazy.
It is the 25th anniversary of Boublil & Schonberg’s legendary musical with new beautiful scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. The backdrop was incredible and at some points it gave the illusion of the stage being far larger than it is.
I heard some comments on the way out that I found interesting, one guy said “I have seen this show 4 or 5 times and this one was the best so far!” and I heard lots of people talking about how amazing it was and how much they loved it.
